Chivi Central – In a show of unity and commitment to rural development, Masvingo Youth Quota MP, Hon. Naledi Maunganidze Madzara, joined Chivi Central MP, Hon. Exevia Maoneke, on Sunday at Maturure Village, Ward 12, for the Muchenami Irrigation Revitalisation Programme a transformative project aimed at reviving agricultural productivity for 66 families spanning two wards.

The event saw Hon. Maoneke officially hand over critical fencing materials, including 10 bundles of wire, 12 bags of cement, steel poles, tying wire, and a new gate, to secure the irrigation garden. He also pledged to rehabilitate the area’s damaged irrigation tanks, ensuring long-term water access for productive farming.

Her presence and contribution symbolized her unwavering dedication to uplifting communities across the entire Chivi district. Having recently visited Chivi North and now Chivi Central, she continues to prove herself as a tireless and inclusive leader who listens, acts, and delivers.

“Development doesn’t pick political boundaries,” Hon. Madzara said. “Whether it\’s Chivi North, Central, or South, we are one people under the vision of President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa. I’m here to serve and empower.”

The programme was also graced by Hon. Ephraim Gwanongodza (ZANU PF Central Committee), Hon. Auxillia Dhanzi (Masvingo Women’s Quota MP), ZANU PF provincial leaders, DCC members, councillors, village heads, and Agritex officers.
