Assisting War Victims from Cameroon to Nigeria
For years, an armed conflict has been raging in Cameroon’s English-speaking regions, displacing thousands and forcing families to flee for safety. Caught in the crossfire between government forces and separatist groups, innocent civilians—especially women and children—have suffered immensely. Many have sought refuge in Nigeria, leaving behind their homes, loved ones, and everything they once knew.
In May 2020, Mother Africa International responded to this crisis with a humanitarian outreach program in Owere, Nigeria. Our mission was to support and uplift those who had escaped the horrors of war, particularly young girls and children, who are often the most vulnerable in such conflicts.
How We Solve This Project
Understanding the urgent needs of these displaced individuals, we provided:
✅ Shelter – offering a safe place for refugees to rest and rebuild.
✅ Food & Clothing – ensuring basic sustenance and dignity.
✅ Books & Shoes – empowering young refugees with educational materials and essential footwear.
✅ Masks & Sanitizers – protecting communities from the added threat of COVID-19.
✅ Emotional Support – reminding these young victims that they are not alone and that their lives still hold promise.
Beyond material aid, our presence was a symbol of love, care, and hope—a reminder that even in times of despair, humanity prevails.
At Mother Africa International, we remain committed to standing with displaced communities, providing relief, and fostering resilience in the face of adversity. Together, we can help rebuild shattered lives and restore hope for a better tomorrow.
